Our High Rel products are designed for optimum reliability and are burned in at elevated voltage and temperature levels. They are 100% electrically inspected to ascertain conformance to a strict performance criteria.
Applications for High Reliability products include medical implanted devices, aerospace, airborne, various military applications, and consumer uses requiring safety margins not attainable with conventional product qualifications.
Our testing expertise covers the major standards encountered in Automotive (through AEC-Q200), Military and Aerospace (through IECQ-CECC and MIL standard testing), Medical (for example with the application of MIL-PRF-55681 and MIL-PRF-123 to medical implantable applications and Space (Space grade tested in accordance with ESCC3009 (refer to Knowles Spec S02A 0100) or MIL Grade (in accordance with MIL-PRF-123, MIL- PRF-55681))
High Reliability For Automotive
Knowles Capacitors is a manufacturer of high quality automotive grade components. With the broadest range of AEC-Q200 approved MLC capacitors, Tandem and Open Mode MLC capacitors, X8R High temperature MLC capacitors and EMI filters up to a voltage rating of 4kV we provide for the requirements of modern automotive applications including EV and HEV systems. High Reliability For Military and Aerospace
For applications such as Mil / Aerospace where reliability is paramount, Knowles Precision Devices holds the IECQ-CECC internationally recognized qualification for surface mount ceramic capacitors tested in accordance with the requirements of IECQ-CECC QC32100. High Reliability For Space Applications
Space applications demand products of high quality, with appropriate additional testing to ensure long term reliability. These components must undergo special life-testing, sectioning and additional electrical measurements, to meet ESCC (European Space Components Coordination) Generic Specification No. 3009 requirements
Our products are space grade tested in accordance with ESCC3009 (refer to Knowles Spec S02A 0100) or MIL Grade (in accordance with MIL-PRF-123, MIL- PRF-55681)
